The Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA) (Urdu: پاکستان گرل گائڈزایسوسی ایشن) is the national Guiding organization of Pakistan. It serves 117,692 members (as of 2010). Founded in 1911 as part of Indian Girl Guiding, the girls-only organization became independent in 1947 and a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1948.
Mission: “To provide opportunities for the development of girls and young women, so that they become confident, patriotic and law abiding citizens capable of performing their duties in the home, as well as community and country”
Vision: We are a National Movement of empowered girls and young women working as the agents of change to build a better world.
The movement aims to help girls develop potentials as individuals and prepare them into useful and caring citizens of the country. The association is divided in three sections according to age:
Junior Guides - 6 to 11 Years
Girl Guides - 11 to 16 Years
Senior Guides - 16 to 21 Years

We strive to offer support that has long-lasting benefits by freeing individuals from the cyclical effects of poor social and living conditions. Once we facilitate these individuals into becoming self-supporting and contributing members of society, the benefits ripple to their families and community.
Though short-term support has its own place in disaster and emergency situations, it equates to temporary relief. Our projects in education, agriculture, and healthcare ensure that once the community is on their feet, they can maintain a productive and dignified living standard.
In the infancy of our organization, we focus on literacy.
For many ordinary individuals and families in Pakistan, attaining an education is practically unaffordable. Students cannot start or continue their schooling due to sheer cost, or the need for supplementary income for the survival of their families. This leads to them and their future generations to fall into in a cycle of illiteracy, which becomes the cause and result of their poverty (right).
Thus, the Sadaat Aid Foundation provides literacy aid to targeted communities where the cycle of illiteracy is the main cause of poverty. This ensures that your contributions are impactful and efficient. Often, educating only one student can break this cycle and uplift an entire family out of poverty!
